I was stunned as well. We got more support from The Democrats on this one. If you noticed the demographics of the Congressman you will see NJ, NY, etc. The type of RHINO that Needs to Go.

What does catching a killer have to do with economics? Sure Cap and Trade is good is you are Rich and can afford additional funds going to the tax base. I guess folks are not going to continue dancing in the streets saying, "I don't have to pay my Mortgage" Because Obama is President. The bottom line is that Obama will wreck the poor by charging front and back ended taxes and fees.

I guess one doesn't look at how raising cigarette taxes that will generate revenue for the state but will cost Service providers like Gas stations and convenience stores higher insurance premiums for break ins as Cigarettes become expensive enough for them to be sold on the black market. Then one should look at the added law enforcement needed to combat break ins at convenience stores and track down the criminals selling cigarettes which are now regulated by the FDA making it a drug crime.... and so it goes. Get get your guy who caught the Green River Killer working on how a tax ultimately drags the economy and stimulus never gets to the poor due to new levels of bureaucracy that are always added to manage work programs. Obama himself said that Cap and Trade would bankrupt the Coal Industry (poor people work there) and the CBO says that the 2012 added fees per family would be less the 500 dollars but when the whole costs are added... look at $3700 per family per year.

My Republican Congressman Says Cap and Trade is Good for America.

And, he caught the Green River Killer.

Did you catch the Green River Killer?

No, no you didn't.

You can hear his interview here.

http://www.mynorthwest.com/?nid=194&sid=184941

Dave Reichert SPEAKS: says Cap and Trade will be good for America

He argued that the expense would not be what the Heartland Institute, Heritage Foundation, and Wall Street Journal were predicting. He argued that it would cost around $.48 per day and that we would have better national security, more nuclear, coal and refining capabilities, and a cleaner environment with the bill. He argued that the conservative arguments against were mistaken, and that Washington specifically would be better off even though the bill was imperfect.

And, he caught the Green River Killer.

Yeah, it took him a couple of decades, but better late than never.

I hear Fox was thinking about making the Series 24 about Reichert. But instead of showing 24 hours in a day they would have to make each episode a year.
