Bill Clinton Used to Get Sestak to Drop Out of Primary

Here is the thing, If there was no issue with the Sestak job offer, why did they wait until the memorial day weekend to announce that Bill Clinton was involved.   If everything was Kosher than why the delay in announcing it?   Bottom line here is that this is just another non transparency offer from Rahm Emanuel to get a Senate contender out of a race.  If there was not an issue then the White House would have cleared the are long ago.

The Obama administration used former President Bill Clinton in an effort to get Pennsylvania Representative Joe Sestak to drop out of his primary race against incumbent Senator Arlen Specter. The move was orchestrated by White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
Sestak refused the offer on an unpaid presidential advisory board and went on to defeat Specter in the Senate primary. Because it was an unpaid position, White House counsel Robert Bauer said the talks with Sestak were, “fully consistent with the relevant law and ethical requirements.”
Sestak mentioned months ago that he had been offered a job, leading Republicans to wonder whether the White House was trying to bribe Sestak to drop out of the race.
Congressional GOP members have demanded an independent investigation into talks with Sestak to determine if laws were broken. The White House has denied the Pennsylvania lawmaker was offered the job as Secretary of the Navy.
