SEIU Commercial "Fired up and ready to go" following Gloria Allred allegations saying Meg Whitman knowingly hired illegals

September 30, 2010 politisite 0

SEIU had a commercial online minutes after Attorney Gloria Allred admitted that her client, Nicky Diaz, was an illegal and worked using another citizens Social Security Number.
Gloria Allred held a news conferance streamed on-line. She stated she was providing reporters with a letter from the Social Security Office that stated that Diaz had provided the wrong SSN on her forms. What one wonders is how Allred got a hold of this document that she says proves Whitman knew of Diaz undocumented status?
I have a guess. Diaz who had as one of her responsibilities at the Whitman home was to get the mail each day, confiscated the letters and then added a few words that would implicate the Whitmans on knowingly hiring an undocumented worker. So Allreds “proof” to me, seems like no proof at all.
What does Allred want? For Whitman to apologize? Doubt it.
Looks to me like a last minute frontal attack. All the members were in place.
I am wondering, since Allred admitted that this woman is illegal , used fake identification to secure employment in the United States, when she will be turning her client over to the authorities for processing?

Conservatism does not equal racism

September 30, 2010 politisite 0

From an immigration law in Arizona to a planned mosque near Ground Zero to Glenn Beck emoting at the Lincoln Memorial on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, the controversies roiling American politics in recent weeks and months have featured an ugly undertone, suggesting meanness, prejudice and, in the eyes of some, outright racism. And it is conservatives — whether Republican politicians, Fox News […]

From Abbie Boudreau I’ve been a reporter for nine years. My first official day on the job was on 9-11. I was the bureau chief in Dubuque, Iowa, working as a one-man band. I shot my own video, set up my own live shots, and edited my own stories. I would bring home the police scanner to make sure the nights were quiet in this modest town along the grand […]

Blaming the Voters – Democrats embrace the Chris Farley school of political motivation.

September 29, 2010 politisite 0

Democrats seeking to boost voter turnout this fall are beginning to sound like the late comedian Chris Farley’s portrayal of a “motivational speaker” on Saturday Night Live. Farley’s character sought to inspire young people by announcing that they wouldn’t amount to “jack squat” and would someday be “living in a van down by the river.” Massachusetts Senator John Kerry, who prefers sailing vessels to vans by the river, recently tried […]

New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie is scheduled to speak to House Republicans Wednesday at their morning conference meeting at the Capitol Hill Club, according to two GOP sources. Obama in Rolling Stone: Accomplished 70 percent of promises

September 28, 2010 politisite 0

What do you say to those people who have developed a sense of frustration — your base — who feel that you need to fight harder? That’s a bunch of different questions, so let me see if I can kind of knock them out one by one. One of the healthy things about the Democratic Party is that it is diverse and opinionated. We have big arguments within the party […]
