Jesse Jackson Praises Unions at Grade School, compares it to Civil rights Struggle

Is Separation of Church and State just for Conservatives?  It appears so as no establishment clause invocation was used when  Socialist religious promulgator Jesse Jackson met with school children in Wisconsin this week.  His civics lesson?  Democrats walking out and not doing their Civic duty resembles the civil rights movement of the 1960s.  He explained the fleeing Democrats were like the civil disobedience that helped secure voting rights and equality for Southern Blacks.

Jackson failed to explain that failing to perform ones job is not appropriate in state government.  He also failed to mention that our current education system is failing as  America  ranks 27th in Math, 33rd in Reading,  and 22nd in Science.

Had Jesse Jackson focused on personal responsibility and teacher proficiency rather then collective Bargaining, he might have encouraged students to perform better and demand proficiency in their instructors.  Instead he preached the Gospel of mediocrity encouraged by socialism. Mediocrity that keeps poor teachers in our classrooms because the collective supports teachers and not the education process.

Jim Hoft put it this way

Why is this communist stooge allowed to spew his leftist drivel to grade school children?  Jesse Jackson told a group of grade school children that the recent political battles in Wisconsin are like the equal voting rights act in the 1960s. He also praised the AWOL fleebaggers who are hiding in Illinois. The school he spoke at was non-union.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson told a group of 4th, 5th and 6th graders today at Highland Community School that Wisconsin’s fight over labor and collective bargaining rights for public workers is an extension of the fight for equal voting rights in the 1960s.

“Collective bargaining means teachers can vote en masse and demand better working rights,” Jackson told the students, seated around him in a circle at Highland School’s satellite campus at the Sarah Scott middle school building, 1017 N. 12th St.

Jackson, a civil-rights leader, activitst and Baptist minister, visited the school Friday morning during a tour of Milwaukee. He was then headed to Madison to meet with union leaders, including members of the Wisconsin Education Association Council. He is scheduled to speak tonight in Milwaukee at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church
