He’s Baaack: Former Rep. Grayson Announces 2012 Run

Just when you thought the American Public was rid of both loud moths in House of Representatives (Grayson and Weiner) He is Back and he wants in.  Alan Grayson the lefty loud mouth has filed his paperwork and is ready to run for the 2012 election in Orlando. What can’t find a job under Obama?

Former Rep. Alan Grayson, the outspoken liberal Democrat from Florida, announced Monday night he’s back in the race.

“I’m running for Congress again,” Mr. Grayson said on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show,” confirming months of speculation. “I’m back.”

Mr. Grayson defeated incumbent GOP Rep. Ric Keller in the Democratic wave in 2008 only to be swept out in the GOP wave of 2010. But unlike other members of his party in tough races who sometimes downplayed the laws they helped pass, Mr. Grayson embraced his record. He argued that Democrats should have included a public option in the health care law, and that the U.S. should withdraw its troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. He famously said the Republican plan for health-care overhaul amounted to “Don’t get sick” or if you do get sick, “Die quickly!” Last year, he also got in a few eyebrow-raising shots at his opponent, now-Rep. Daniel Webster (R., Fla.).
