Our mission in Afghanistan was never supposed to have been nation building. It was never supposed to be creating a unified, centralized democracy. Our only vital national interest in Afghanistan remains today what it has always been: preventing a terrorist attack on American homeland.

Today, 57 Senators – including a record 7 Republicans – voted to find former President Trump guilty for inciting that deadly insurrection on our very democracy. The Senate vote followed the bipartisan vote to impeach him by the House of Representatives.
The Mainstream Media and Democratic leaders state that during the presidents speech he incited insurrection and should be removed by: The president resigning, activating the 25th Amendment to the constitution or the House filing another article of impeachment.
