After weeks of political posturing, more Democrats ended up voting to extend the Bush Tax Cuts than did Republicans. The provision extends the current tax rates for two years. The Measure also included an extension of unemployment benefits as unemployment remains at a high 9.8 percent. Democrats already have their talking points loaded and ready to go, “Republicans held us hostage and used blackmail”. Democrats rhetoric sounds more each day like the terrorists they are fighting are not members of al-qaeda but rather those in the Republican Party.
Rey Decerega from Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute was the culprit behind the Presidents 12 stitches in his upper lip. Maybe he was telling the President something. communicating, if you will, of sorts, that Immigration reform has not moved fast enough. This has been our humor segment and hope none of you take this seriously. If you have… find something else to do. From today’s Washington Examiner: The party who busted […]
The Best Read that the LA Times is Andrew Malcolm Top of the Ticket. In today’s column he equates Obama’s popularity to a sinking ship President Obama has passed the Big 4-0 — going the wrong way. Turns out voters were not simply satisfied to spank the Democrat and his party in the Nov. 2 midterm elections with historic losses in the House of Representatives. Obama’s job approval rating as […]
Obama and the Democrats old stand bye for when things don’t go as they wanted. Bushes Fought! Though some critics and observers are suggesting the Ghailani verdict — he was acquited of all but one of more than 280 charges — weakens the president’s call for civilian criminal trials for Guantanamo detainees, a senior administration official pushes back: “He was convicted by a jury of a count which carries a […]
For 34-year-old Adam Green, the midterm elections were not a repudiation of liberalism but a rejection of Barack Obama’s accommodating style. “The only way to get the Republicans to the table,” he says, “is to punch them in the face real hard on one issue.” So when he read this month about White House aides conceding that they would likely support a tax-cut extension for the richest 2% of Americans […]
En route back to Washington after a 10-day trip overseas, President Obama was introspective about his first two years in office. The president told reporters aboard Air Force One that he had an “obsessive focus” on policy and he will now “redouble” efforts to get back to his core principles. Obama said he “neglected” things that matter a lot to Americans in his rush to get major legislation passed. He […]
Just shows the Obama Administration does not believe in equal protection under the law. To blatantly give Wavers to be exempt from the New Health Care Reform Law shows you need a friend in the White House. We the people looks more like We the Unions. Big Government has the full list and it is provided here 111 companies and organizations were granted waivers by Obama’s Dept. of Health […]
Editors note: Politisite did a story on Obama’s campaign finances in early 2008. We are sure Darrell Issa will also hold a hearing on why the Obama Campaign disconnected the address verification system on donations of less than 200 dollars during his campaign. Obama first stated he would accept public funding but later caved when the $85M was not enough to propagandize his message of fundamental change in government. Not […]
